A Village Wonderland – December First Friday Artwalk

Visit the Village of the Arts for our vibrant monthly artwalk the first Friday night and Saturday afternoon of every month. Discover unique galleries, studios, specialty shops, healing arts, food and music during this popular monthly event. Opening receptions for new shows, special guests throughout the Village, and live music are all a part of artwalk weekends. Friday night, 6-9:30pm and Saturday 11am-4pm.

Parking

Street Parking
Limited street parking is available throughout the Village of the Arts. Your best bet for Artwalk parking is south of 13th Avenue on 11th St. and 13th St. (Streets north of 13th Ave have limited parking during events.)

Public Parking Garage
A public parking garage is located at the intersection of 8th Avenue W and 12th Street W. Three short blocks north of the Village. Free after 6pm and on weekends.

A barbershop quartet and high school choral group will be strolling the Village on Friday evening signing classic holiday carols.

Artist Connie Buckler-Gill will have a new line of prayer beads labeled 24/7 GOD INSIDE. Carefully crafted Catholic Rosaries, Buddhist Beads and Malas, and Sufi beads.

#53, Little Swamp Gallery
Friday: Book signing by artist, singer and children's book author Frona Farrelly with her second book called 'The Story of Rocky and Salty paws'  Wind chimes from glass artist Cindy Bavery, egg nog and treats.

#55, Jerk Dog Records
Live music on Friday night by No Pants Maurice

"A Down Home Southern Christmas with Grandma", new works by folk artist Missionary Mary Proctor.
Mexican Fiesta Christmas Tree and " Nochebuena", Christmas Eve Poinsettia Flower, The Christmas Star Pinatas, Mexican Egg Nog with cookies and "Farolitos", luminaries to light your way.

Alcover Massage will host the Salvation Army Kettle and Bell Ringers on Friday and Saturday. Donations benefit Salvation Army programming.

Open Friday only. Santa with reindeer and sleigh, selfie photo op with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, treat bags for the kids, new American Indian themed paintings, Frida Kahlo paintings, blues rock icon art. Live music. Ugly Christmas sweaters receive 15% off of all paintings.

#160, Dude and Mary's Art of Life and Music
Unique artsy stocking stuffers from $3 - $5 , Home decor pieces priced from $35 - $40. Tours of the living space with refreshments on the patio from 12-4 on Saturday.

#161, 11th St. Gallery
Pig Santa will be in the gallery greeting visitors and posing for selfies.

#164, 14th Avenue West Studio
Saturday: See artist Gene Tenery at work on outdoor metal art pieces (weather permitting)
