Keep Manatee Beautiful and the Artist Guild of Manatee have teamed up in 2017 to keep the Village of the Arts beautiful, and we need you to help make it happen! Four clean up days have been scheduled throughout 2017. Volunteers are needed for the next clean up day scheduled on Earth Day, April 22, from 9-11am.

Volunteers should meet at 9am at the empty lot on the corner of 12th St and 13th Ave in the Village of the Arts. Volunteers will then be divided into teams and assigned streets. The clean-up activity will last about 2 hours. Activities will include sweeping sidewalks and cleaning up trash. Of course, if you have a group of friends or volunteers who want to do more, we can probably find an area that needs extra TLC!  Water will be provided to make sure everybody keeps hydrated. Bring gloves if you can. As an added bonus for this special Earth Day clean-up, volunteers who sign up by April 17 will receive a free T-shirt!

To participate, please respond to Jean G. Farmer at 941-448-7485 by Monday, April 17th with the number of participants in your group and sizes needed for T-shirts (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL).
