Stephanie Peterson & her daughter Rahel Manna will be preparing this traditional Ethiopian meal using recipes handed down from Stephanie's mother-in-law. Two seatings -- 5:30pm and 7:30pm, $15+tax+tip per person all-inclusive. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Call Bonni Bakes at (941) 746-6647. Bring your own wine or beer. No corkage fee. VEGETARIAN PLATTERS AVAILABLE!! Wash your hands, no silverware needed.
The meal is served on injera (spongy sourdough like bread) and consists of: Spicy Chicken (doro wet), Chickpea Sauce (yeshiro), Collard Greens (gomen), Mild Beef Stew (zigni alicha), Mixed Vegetable Stew (yeataket alicha), Spicy Red Lentils (yemisir kek wet) plus more injera served on the side to scoop the food up with. Coffee, hot & iced tea and sodas.
