The Village of the Arts and MCCA (Arts Council of Manatee County) join forces to present “DANCING THRU THE VILLAGE” on Saturday March 3, 2012. This is the kick-off event of Realize Bradenton's MARCH MUSIC SLAM.
During the Saturday 11-4 March Village ArtWalk FREE performances and dance instruction will be taught to gathered visitors, followed by 30 minute dance jams at outdoor locations all around the Village. A wide variety of dance styles, reflective of our community's diverse heritage and musical interests, will be represented.
This INCLUSIVE EVENT is an opportunity for you to participate, showcase your talent and share your culture. We're looking for passionate performers who have a willing desire to share and teach others. You don't have to be a professional. NO FEE TO PARTICIPATE. If you'd like to perform, just email bonnibakes@gmail.com for an Application. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY FEB 22nd.
Bring an acoustic instrument. Join the Conga Line dancing through the Village. Movement, Music & joy will fill the streets. Flash mobs are encouraged.
