The Village of the Arts is a vibrant community of artists living and working together in Bradenton, Florida. The Village is Florida’s largest art community and over 30 businesses call the Village home. Galleries, studios, cafes, healing arts, jewelry, fashion and books can all be found as you wander the streets of this charming area of restored 1920's and 30's cottages. Located just south of downtown, the Village is one of Bradenton's most exciting areas. Carving out a creative community where people can live and create, going strong after more than 15 years.
Open year-round with monthly Artwalks the first Friday (6-9:30pm) and following Saturday (11am-4pm) of every month. Closed Sundays. Normal business hours vary by gallery. The 9th Annual Dia De los Muertos, FESTIVAL OF THE SKELETONS, Mexican Food and Music, Village Community Shrine Honoring Santa Fe, New Mexico's famous painter of flowers, Georgia O' Keeffe. Memory Wall for Loved Ones, Artist's Skeleton Walk, Procession of the Skeleton Puppets, Artist's Shrines and Altars to Friends and Loved Ones at Galleries throughout the Village, Plus a special appearance by Mexico's most famous Skeleton, Lady La Catrina and her handsome skeleton escort. So put on your Best Skeleton Face and take you picture at our life-size Dia de los Muertos Postcard Photo Board in Remembrance of this Joyous Event.
